Depending on your situation, the best solution for you could be an Internet _base_d fax service, such as Efax (
http://www.efax.com ). With Efax, you will simply sign up and install their client software. Your faxes will be sent over the Internet to their data center and faxed out from there. If you wish to fax directly from your computer, you will need to have a fax capable analog modem and a phone line (this has nothing to do with your Internet connection). You will also need some fax software, because XP Home doesn't include any built-in support for faxing. Modems often come with basic fax software, usually found on the same CD as the modem drivers. If you don't have one (or find it inadequate), buy something like Symantec's Winfax Pro.
