Due to significant customer _base_ expansion and notable performance, I was promoted to being Senior Video Conferencing Integration Engineer. This role primarily required focus on Video Conference Integration projects and deployments. This position required supervision of two Integration Engineers. • Designing effective Video conferencing projects with respect to client’s requirements and budget. • Supervision of team engineers so as to ensure project milestones are achieved. • Training external customers and engineers on various Polycom video conferencing technologies. • Frequent interstate travels were involved so as to consult with key stakeholders so as to ensure efficient project management. • Proposed and implemented redundant video conferencing designs to Vantage and its existing clients so as to achieve minimum downtime in case of a disaster. • Provide 2nd & 3rd level support to customer’s Polycom MCUs, video conferencing network and firewall issues. • Design and provide implementation disaster recovery plans for Vantage’s Windows Server/client infrastructure. • Provide integration strategy and design plan so as to integrate Polycom equipment into a non Polycom environment Summary of Projects and Achievements: • Designed and Implemented Microsoft OCS 2007 integrated with Polycom RMX 2000 Service Provider model. This was made possible with OCS 2007 A/V Federation with Polycom RMX. Systems Integration Engineer, Vantage Systems, 10 Queens Road, Melbourne (30th October 2006 – February 2008). While working with an organization which is regarded as the pioneer in the area of corporate videoconferencing providers and partner seller of Polycom Videoconferencing products, the System Integrations Engineer role was responsible for the operational maintenance of all business infrastructures in regard to networks and systems that are required for the companies core business activities. Achievements & Summary of Projects Handled at Vantage Systems Pty Ltd.: • Successfully implemented an integration project of building a fully QoS ed video conferencing network between Vantage (Australia) -Video Call in the UK, along with an existing public Internet _base_d video conferencing service.
